2003
BLAST is highlighted in the Sure Start magazine issued to all Sure Start centres:

2003 – 2004
BLAST is rolled out into ALL pre-school settings in Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland and becomes a part of the everyday experience for all nursery aged children in the area.
December 2005
BLAST wins a Partners in Excellence Award presented by Cherie Booth and Beverley Hughes in a ceremony at Grosvener House in London.
2006
BLAST is highlighted as good practice on the Every Child Matters Website:
